Competitive Salary Scales- Degree and experienced based (To view salary scales, please refer to pages 381-492 in the Spotsylvania School Board Approved Budget book by clicking the salary scales link above.) Virginia Retirement System - Employee's share paid by the school division Group Life Insurance - Paid by the school division Sick Leave - Employees earn one sick leave day for each contracted month. Sick Leave Bank - By donating one sick leave day, employees are eligible to participate in the sick leave bank. Participaing employees may draw from the bank for long term illness. Personal Leave - Employees earn two personal leave days per contract year.
